In the beginning...

The first incarnation of Starzan Tees, started by Patrick Starzan and Chris Decatur of ChrisChrisChris.com fame, came about while Chris was performing on the open mike circuit. He made clever t-shirts to get people talking and soon audiences were not only applauding the show but also trying to take the shirt off his back... literally. So we did what any Bush-fearing, blue-state voting American would do: we sold tees in between sets.

After selling out at every show, Starzan Tees was born. (It just sounds better than ChrisChrisChris tees.) A few very important brainstorming meetings later (cocktails at Shakespeare's Pub), we decided to start selling our t-shirts online. Soon we realized we were missing a key person. Chris, the artist, designs the shirts and site. Starzan, the suit, handles the business. But what about the code-chewing, caffeine-loving geek? The one who programs the site at 3 a.m.? Enter Mike Lee!

All of our t-shirts are designed by us. If the designs don't make us laugh, they don't get printed. We also believe the high quality of our designs deserve to be printed on high quality t-shirts, that's why we use only American Apparel shirts.

Our site is not only designed to push our t-shirts, but to make you smile. Soon you will be able to uploads pics and short films, send e-cards, listen to our Podcasts, and download answering-machine messages... So have fun reading through the site and keep coming back.
